Now that summer is in FULL swing (aka were all melting), we’ve decided to start prepping the house for some summer themed parties. Up first- bar cart refresh!

This bar cart has been the center of many parties. We’ve found the best - and most affordable pieces that will keep your bar cart functional and cute for any hosting event!

First up - the bar cart itself. We found this one at our local antique store - West Side Market! It was in great condition, and just needed a few touch ups on the black paint - in comes the black thick tip sharpie.

Next - decanters and glassware. These decanters we also found at the same antique store. But here are some of my favorites. Don’t forget to check your local antique store - they might have some really great finds for half to triple off the store price!

Shakers, ice bucket, and all the accessories: This set we found at target last year. Target has another set that is very similar! My biggest suggestion is making sure whatever you buy is dishwasher safe! Our first utensil set was not, and let's just say some fake gold in the dishwasher is NOT a pretty sight. See below for other chic bar cart utensils:

Don’t forget the alcohol! We aren’t big dark liquor drinkers, so these decanters stay empty most of the times. So we leave the most space for our favorite vodka, tequila, bitters, and mixers.

Last but not least, accessories! Here you want to keep it simple, maybe some cook and drink recipe books and a couple of candles. Maybe even a cute framed picture of you and you're bestie.

GET TO HOSTING!
