Repeat after me: Mixing wood tones is NOT A CRIME. You might need to repeat that one again to yourself. If you are anything like me, you have sort of a random mix of furniture in your home. You all know by now that I loooove a good table lamp. Or really just any light that ISN’T your overhead lighting. Unless you live in a home with a well thought out electrical plan, chances are your overhead lighting sucks. Because of this I have played around with how to get adequate levels of light with layering lighting levels. I had intentions to hang a beautiful tonal gallery wall, aaaand got distracted. How did I leave the photos? Just propped up against the wall on top of my dresser. Well, turns out a month later I’ve decided I love the look of this so much more and decided to style it up, and leave it as so.
