3 WAYS TO MAKE YOUR HOME FEEL READY FOR FALL

Ready for Fall with Snow Studio.JPG

We all know that fall is quickly approaching…right?? I honestly don’t know anymore. Needless to say this year has really flown by. So, to make myself more aware of the seasons changing I am slowly starting to change some small design elements around our home to help me mentally transition into fall!

Here are the 3 simple things I’m changing around our home to help us get into the fall *mood*. Luckily, none of these things are super expensive or require a huge time investment to make!

Throw Pillows

Ok ok, if you’ve followed me for some time you KNOW that this would be the first suggestion to switch up your home decor. I may or may not have a throw pillow *problem* (a.k.a our second closet has 4 shelves full of seasonal throw pillows…whops!).

I just really can’t sing enough praises for switching up your home with seasonal throw pillows. The great thing about this simple styling hack is that It is relatively inexpensive, a super easy fix, and you can re-use the seasonal throw pillows every year! Plus, there’s something fun about shopping your own pillow collection whenever you want to re-style your home!

Candles & Diffusers

If smell is important to you (which it really should be) then adding some amazing pumpkin spice candles to your space will really make everything feel more cozy. I’ve added some of my favorite fall scented candles below! I’ve also really gotten into oil diffusers. They commit a cleaner scent than candles!

Vases and Faux Florals

You know how I love adding faux florals around the home. I love them so much I did a post on the best stables of faux florals to have around your home (here)! If you’re looking to add some texture and layers to your home adding faux florals in a textured vase is the best way to do it!

I recently changed up some of the vases around our home too and it adds even more texture to the vignette!
