WINTER COVETED ITEMS
Over the last couple of months I’ve found myself really relying on a couple of key items around my home, office, and closet. These items either make my life easier, more comfortable, and just all around better! It’s the small luxuries after all. I decided to start a series that will launch during each season called the Seasonal Covet List. The items will really range from my favorite home decor, skin care, fashion, and gadgets that help make each season of life easier.
So, without further ado - introducing the Winter Seasonal Covet List.
DECOR AND FURNITURE
BASKETS | I can’t emphasize enough what a upgrade chic baskets will make to your home. These wicker ones from CB2 are very chic and add great texture to any space.
LEATHER WRAPPED DRESSER | If you follow me on instagram you probably saw the new dresser we got from CB2. This dresser has leather covered drawers, metal pulls, and a walnut frame. It’s a perfect blend of our style, and really well made.
TAPESTRY AS WALL COVERING |: If you live in a rented space like I do you don’t have much control over what your wall treatment looks like. In our office we are planning to install a large scale mural to act like a wall covering wall treatment. Shop the mural we are using here.
WOOL THROW | What an easier way to make your couch cuddle sessions feel more luxurious.
METAL STAND | This metal stand is perfect for a cookbook or iPad stand to add an extra layer of function to your kitchen.
METAL TRAY | In the spirit of tidying up our home with the new year I find myself reaching for decorative trays that I can place around our home to serve as a Catch-all. This metal tray serves us wonders for the console near our front door.
FILE SORTER | Again, I’m definitely looking to keep our home tidy and more organized this year. I just got this desktop file sorter from Anthropologie and it’s totally changed my desk’s functionality.
SPUN CANDLE STICKS | These spun and carved candle sticks are such a nice change from plain taper candles.
MARBLE BOWL | We use this marble bowl as a chic fruit bowl - it’s perfect since our island is really in the center of our living room
BLACK AND WHITE BEDDING | We just updated our bedding to this chic white and black set from H&M. It really does feel so luxurious and like we are sleeping at a hotel.
GADGETS
PORTABLE HUMIDIFIER | This little humidifier from Hey dewy is a game changer. It’s super affordable, really easy to travel with, and has an 8 hour run time. Every night I sleep with this humidifier running, and whenever I take long road trips I plug it into my car console. It has made a huge difference in my skin heath and with combatting sickness.
SUNRISE ALARM CLOCK | Looking to not touch your phone in the mornings? Me too. I think it all starts with not even having your phone in the bedroom. I just ordered this Loftie alarm clock that has an integrated wake light to help me wake up before sunrise.
SKINCARE
SILK PILLOW CASE | If you are looking for a small upgrade in your bedroom, I highly suggest getting a silk pillowcase. They are great for your skin and hair and they feel super luxurious.
GLOSSIER RETINOL | Looking for an affordable retinol that actually works? I’ve been reaching for Glossier’s retinol every week for a brighter complexion .
WATER SLEEPING MASK | This water sleeping mask is a must have during the cold winter months. Slather this on top of all your skin care before going to bed and you will wake up with hydrated and glowing skin.
LIP MASK | The product is the best product to compliment the water sleeping mask, except for your lips. Trust me, especially is you struggle with chapped lips.

RECHARGEABLE SPOT LIGHT | With the sun setting earlier during the winter season I’m always looking for ways to add light into our home. I love using this re-chargeable spot light around our home to up light artwork, drapes, and different dark corners in our home.
TORTOISE LAMP | This small scale tortoise lamp is to-die for in person. It’s the perfect addition to any desktop or small console.
FASHION
ANKLE WEIGHTS | These Bala ankle weights are a game changer to any work out or walk. I use these with my Melissa Wood Health Pilates workouts or whenever I go on a long walk around the neighborhood for an extra kick.
WOOL BLEND COAT | This ivory wool blend coat has really elevated my entire winter wardrobe. Even better? It doesn’t break the bank.
LEATHER GLOVES | I keep these leather gloves in my car and pull them out every morning when the steering wheel is freezing to the touch. Plus they look really chic.
