WHAT I'VE BEEN WEARING DURING QUARANTINE

Quarantine Outfits

& My New Mantra

I’m not sure about you guys, but I’ve reached a point in quarantine where wearing sweat pants just isn’t as satisfying. I’m kind of just tired of feeling like a blob, you know? Granted, my days are full of video calls. So, I definitely don’t want to look like my usual hot mess for these calls. Now that we all would consider ourselves WFH experts, I feel like it’s time to dress the part - right?

My dad always worked from home growing up, and would get dressed to the nines all day. When I say get dressed to the nines, I mean he would put on slacks and a bow tie every. Single. day. His mantra was “dress like someone you would want to work for”. I feel like this definitely can still apply to where we are now with working from home. There is something that really helps my productivity when I put on something besides sweats.

All this to say, I’m at no place to put on jeans. (P.S. Who thinks jeans are comfy?!) I’m more about the the in office *super casual/comfy* vibe. All the girls out here know what I mean. Dresses. Yes, I’ve been wearing dresses at home. It feels a little silly, but it really helps me feel like more of a put together human. No, I’m not here to tell you to only start wearing floral dresses at home and slowly turn into a 1980’s house wife. All I’m saying, is that wearing something a little more tailored that sweats has really changed my outlook on my overall appearance.

Below is a round of of everything I’ve been wearing during quarantine work days. What’s even better? Every piece here is below $30. And yes, it’s all from Amazon, because where else would we shop from during quarantine times? I’ve been really wearing the heck out of the short cotton romper and the gingham shift dress.
