HOW TO SPEND THE LONG WEEKEND AHEAD

DATE NIGHT PATIO

& WHAT TO DO WITH YOUR FREE TIME

We’ve got a long weekend ahead of us! I’m not sure about you, but I always get like *excited* stressed about a long weekend because there is so much more time to tackle projects! Ok, even if it’s just one day, that still counts! Today I am rounding up the best things to do during a long weekend that DON’T include travel, and are quarantine friendly.

Go on a Picnic

This is an obvious choice. Who doesn’t love being outside! I know that I will be going on a picnic almost every day this weekend. We go on a picnic around Atlantic Station and on the Tech Green. They both are great spots, especially now, since they are usually less crowded than Piedmont Park. Want to know the perfect picnic bag? Don’t worry, we’ve got you covered in the post here.

Tackle that Home Project

This can be a complete renovation, or something as simple as re styling your home! Here are some low cost, high impact projects that will completely transform your home. Plus they are all easy to do in a weekend! We are actually tackling a brand new patio project this weekend! Don’t worry - new blog post to come.

Have a Little Date Night

Have a little date night. This will definitely be on our agenda this weekend. We did a little date night on our patio with Antico’s pizza. We both have been so busy recently that we haven’t really spent much quality time together! These date nights help us re connect and relax, even when we spend all day working together. We plan to cook one of our favorite recipes in our new Le Creuse this weekend.

Movie Night

This is one of our favorites. We recently splurged for a really awesome OLED big screen TV. We also installed black out drapes in the living room. So, even if it’s light outside during the summers nights, our living room can turn into the darkest viewing room. This weekend’s line up is Harry Potter and starting to watch all of the Avengers movie in order!
